We specialize in maternity, family, portrait and seasonal mini sessions throughout the DMV area. Each session is tailored to celebrate milestones and capture beautiful, timeless memories.

Yes, in addition to studio sessions we schedule outdoor sessions in scenic DMV locations. We host mini sessions—such as cherry blossom minis—seasonally. These are shorter sessions at a lower price point, perfect for quick, beautiful updates.

You will receive a link to your online gallery within 2–3 weeks after your session. This gallery lets you download your images and order prints.

We recommend booking your maternity session between 28–34 weeks to ensure availability and the most comfortable posing. However, we accommodate earlier or later bookings when possible.

We understand unexpected circumstances. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule. Mini sessions require full payment within 24 hours; rescheduling is subject to availability.

To reserve a time, select your date via our booking form. Payment is due within 24 hours to secure your appointment—our preferred payment method is Zelle, sent to karencollettephotography@gmail.com.

Our studio is conveniently located in Bowie, MD, making it an easy drive from Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. We also offer outdoor sessions at picturesque DMV locations upon request.

Each package includes a customized consultation, access to curated wardrobe pieces, a professional photoshoot lasting 1–2 hours, and a selection of professionally edited digital images delivered via an online gallery. Add‑ons such as prints and albums are available.

Absolutely! Including your partner and children adds meaning to your maternity photos. We also offer family portrait sessions to capture this milestone.
